I have an application that relies on the internet connection, but isn't very good at initiating the Media Net connection on my TILT.
So I wind up having to open IE and connect to something - that initiates the Media Net connection and then I can open the application and it connects.

Is there a way to initiate the Media net connection manually, rather that having to open IE to start it?

I use AE Button Plus and assign the "Go Online" function to a double-tap of the PTT button. Simply pushing PTT twice rather quickly initiates my data connection.

I also have the End Call key assigned to disconnect the data connection when it's held down for a few seconds.
