Windows and Tilt Lost Partnership

One minute all was fine, then I did a second sync of the night. The Vista Mobile device center found the Tilt after quite a while, but did not recognize it as an established partnership.

In my computer it still shows up with the correct name of the Tilt. I have soft reset the Tilt and rebooted the PC without change. When I open ActiveStink on my Tilt, it looks like no partnership there too.

What can I do to force the Vista Mobile Device Center to see the Tilt as something it is already partnered with?

Why does this feel like my Axim and Active Stink all over again?

Update

Well I just noticed that the Outlook data on my phone has been deleted. Contacts, calendar, notes, and tasks. This Tilt is acting like an ipod now, deleting data without asking.

At least this made it easy to just establish a new partnership. No data lost or duplicates - this time.
