Remember the blue screen of death on your computer? How much that sucked? Well... I think I have a problem with my tilt.
I got it back in March. I've never really done anything bad to it...
I made sure none of the bloat was installed. Added the nice htc big digital clock. Used OZ Aim... but lately... I've had issues.
One was that with the OZ Aim, messages weren't being sent.
Then, one morning I tried to turn the screen back on, and nothing. Nothing worked... it's happened before, so I would just take the battery out, and put it back in. This time, when it booted back on. No signal. ATT couldn't figure out the problem, and neither could the store. Text messages worked, but no phone service. Couldn't even access my contact list. After a clear storage reset, it worked.
NOW... I've installed skyfire and it's friggin' amazing. Just great. But when the screen shuts off, and i go to turn the screen back on... it won't work. Again, battery out, battery in, power on... and I get...
One red bar, a blue bar, and a green bar, and a white bar, going across the screen with the word Kaiser in the top left, and some numbers.
Windows doesn't boot. The only way I've found to fix it is to leave the battery out for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is it skyfire? A bad mix with other programs? I'm tired of having to do clear storage...

I have had the red, blue, green and white bar twice. Both times it was from installing a program called GPS Compass from Freeware for Pocket PC. Free Windows Mobile Pocket PC / PPC Downloads for WM5 or WM6 PocketPC. the spacific program I installed on the phone is GPS Compass freeware for Pocket PC windows mobile and wm5 or wm6 ppc, PocketPC free downloads.
and inordered to fix the phone I had to take the memory card out. Take the battery out and leave it out for about 1 hr, then start the phone back up, clear storage and when the phone restarts the red, blue, green, white bar will show up again. Take the battery out for about 10 min. when the phone starts up again clear storage again, then when the phone restarts follow the normal procedure and the phone should work correctly. I would advise avoiding this GPS Compass.
