Question How much longer will you use the Kaiser/Tilt/TyTN II as your primary mobile device?

I just got the AT&T Tilt a few weeks ago. After doing a bunch of tweaks and customizations, I find that it's now a nearly perfect device for me.

By my estimation, I hope to use the AT&T Tilt as my primary device for at least the next 3 years. I can't imagine any upcoming smartphone features that would be compelling enough for me to switch. Probably the only feature that I'd really like to see is maybe GPS that works indoors (maybe through better cellphone triangulation).

Anyway, how much longer do you think you'll use the Kaiser/Tilt/TyTN II as your primary mobile device?

while I am happy with it now, some of the new HTC's look nice as do the New Nokia's.

Until I can upgrade (Touch Pro? Fuze?) or until I jump ship for the Dream on TMobile.

11 months now, and it does all that I want. Unless my needs change, or a new device has a feature I really need, I see another year of use, maybe more. But then, buggy whips are gone, the brick phone is gone, and the Tilt may become obsolete in the future too.

Just got my Tilt in June, so there will need to be a major advance in technology before I get something new. I travel in and out of the country and use my unlocked Tilt more with foreign carriers than with AT&T. (Actually I don't even have a voice/data plan with AT&T). I really bought it for the wifi capability as much as anything else, making the jump to WM6 from the Palm Treo 680.

In some ways I like the Treo better, but clearly the WM6 OS has some distinct advantages.

Have you experienced any problems globally roaming with the unlocked Tilt?

I haven't taken my Tilt outside the US yet, and I'm especially curious to see how well it works in countries that don't have GSM, but do have UMTS (like Japan and Korea).

The only one that I have my eye on is the Touch Pro (Fuze). By the time ATT gets it I figure I will have another year of service on my Tilt which I am liking more and more. So I guess I am in no real hurry.
