Hi, i have the att tilt and im having a problem with the email/notifications. First off i tend to keep emails unread so when i go to work i can then see them. But everytime my phone sends/receives i get a notification that i have new mail when i actually dont, because i already saw that i have those. Is there anyway i can make it so it recognizes that i know i have those emails and to only alert me when i get an additional email?

i take it youre using imap?

i would consider not syncing your accounts (one way sync) and consider using a 3rd party email program like flexmail for greater control of email and accounts
