Tilt & Dell GPS Software

Has anyone else tried using the Dell GPS software with your Tilt? I have with no success. The Dell software automatically tries to find the Dell BT GPS.

I installed it on my Advantage, which has built in GPS.
I ran the auto find and it worked after a soft reset.

Does the tilt have built in GPS? or are you trying to connect to an external GPS receiver?

It has an internal GPS. My dell software version is A00. Options--->GPS Options--->Auto Detect. It just seems to try & find the BT one. I'll try & load the software one more time & see what happens.

I don't use it anymore on the advantage , although I still have it installed.

I just tried it again and it is a bit strange.

If I let it pair, using auto detect, to my BT receiver and then once it is connected turn the BT off it starts to use the internal GPS.
You may also be able to change the GPS com port to fool it into recognizing the internal as a BT.
I don't want to try it on mine just now as I need my Tomtom to be working later today.
