Unwanted Data Connections

As far as I know, I do not have an AT&T data plan for my Tilt, nor do I want one currently. Not quite knowing what I was doing, I installed MEdia Net. What does that mean?? All I noticed was a blue hilited antenna with ATT next to it.

Anyhow......

Using NoData, I have my 6.1 Windows Mobile Tilt set to:

AT&T ISP GPRS - DISABLED
MEdia Net - DISABLED
My ISP GPRS - DISABLED

Am I safe from additional charges? I only want phone service and free wireless when available......

What do the above three do and why might I, in the future, want any of them?

All Media Net is AT&T's portal into select internet services. I prefer getting to my favorite internet sites directly and so I don't find Media Net to be very useful and I don't use it.

Im wanting the same thing when i get it (still trying to decide if its worth it to wait for the Touch pro or not)

my question is, If you have the data part active, and your in a wi-fi hotspot, does the Wi-fi get priority and use it OVER the 3g? or will it still use the 3g and eat up your monthly bandwidth?

The touch Pro or the fuse? lol Touch Pro i know will cost a boat load more, which would be my only option unless i wanted to wait till april to upgrade. :\

So the 3g and the wi-fi dont talk to each other? it will pretty much try to use the 3g all the time? thats wasteful.. and lame.
