read messages like a SideKick??

Ive been searching around for a program that allows you to sit on a sms without opening it but marks it as open, like the SideKick does.

I really enjoyed this option in the sidekick since you didnt have to open the message if it was something short like "ok" and you wouldnt have the message unread icon.

Has anyone heard of a program like this?

I've never used a sidekick, but you can save the SMS as read and it eliminates the icon. When your SMS pops up, there send be options to dismiss or menu. In menu, there the option save as read.
