USB flash drive?

Is there anyway to get your phone to read a USB flash drive? I have a large flash drive and a large to small USB connector that I would like to be able to plug into my phone's USB port for storage. Has any found a way to get the phone to read the USB, or is there an issue becasue the phone cannot poer the USB drive?

The issue is the phone does not have USB HOST capability. It only has USB client.

So it won't work with usb drives, mice, keyboards etc..

(and no you can't just make a new cable)

You could buy a redfly (REDFLY), which can host the USB flash drive. of course, those are $199 or more.

Otherwise, buy a large microsdhc card. I think 16gb is coming soon.

It'll work with a Nokia N800 internet tablet. I wonder if any Android phones will have USB host?
