This has been going on for a couple months, but on occasion accessing internet explorer gets me nothing but a blank page. Checked memory, cleared history, and still comes up blank. Now this morning the only page out of the favorites that would load was google...but it didn't go anywhere. I tried to search and find MSN and it came back blank. A simple reset brings everything back just fine. I've been trying to see if using the GPS, Slingplayer, or other programs prior to this problem to see whats causing it. Thanks in advance if anyone has a solution to at least a guess to the cause. I'm not running any other games or anything else on this phone.
I have the same issue. Every day, i have to re-set to access the Internet. I have had this phone for about three months now, and I am hatting it more and more every day. I should have stuck with my IPhone.:(
You might want to look at other programs available to access the net. There is a good (free) one called SkyFire Welcome to Skyfire!. I have it on my phone. It works well. I Have not had it on there too long, so it's taking some getting used to. Do some investigations. Do a Google search for Pocket PC Browsers, or along those lines.
I had the same problem. What was causing it for me was that stupid email program that is pre loaded on the phone. Xpress mail. If you get rid of that program, it will fix your internet problem. At least, that's what did it for me. That program was doing something, where I couldn't connect. OR, to connect, I had to cycle my phone off, then back on, then it would connect. Probably because turning it off ended Xpress mail from doing whatever it was doing.
Supposedly there is a way to reset the phone that gets rid of all of ATT spamware on the phone, but I was never able to get it to work.
Instead of resetting my phone, I click on the "3G" at the top of the screen. This brings up a connectivity box. I disconnect from the network and then refresh my IE screen. It will then reconnect to 3G or edge and it starts working. No reset required.
I have to do that occasionally for send MMS messages.
I just put the phone in flight mode, wait for it to calm down, then turn off flight mode.
I haven't tried that for the IE problem...
