Tilt Screen Washed out, unreadable

I went to use my Tilt today and the screen was all washed out looking, like faded and almost impossible to read. I tried resetting it and so forth, making sure it's charged, etc. No change. Is this a known problem or is there anything I can do? I've had it for a year or so, so probably way out of warranty.

Did you check the backlight settings?

Yeah, checked the backlight and as many other settings that I could. It didn't get wet or anything either.

Was still under warranty, replacement en route...
