Extended Battery

I'm considering this extended battery from Seido, which is larger and comes with a new back plate for the phone. I'm wondering if anyone has it. It seems like this upgrade would cause my hard case to no longer fit

I have it.

Without seeing your hard case, my money says you are right: there is no way this bootypack will fit into the old jeans.

I have seen 2800mAh slim batteries, which is just over twice what the factory battery has (1350mAh). Since it's a slim battery, you don't need a new back for the phone so using one of these batteries would mean you could still use your hard case.

I had a 2800 extended battery for my 8525... It was a wonderful thing to not worry about the battery for almost 2 days and not worrying about usage.

if it comes with a back plate, no hard case will fit it... that is simple logic. UNLESS they manufacturer ALSO makes a hard case specifically for extended batteries
