Video Playback????

Hello, I am wanting to play videos on my Tilt. I have a .mov (quicktime) video to play, but realize that I will have to convert it. Any suggestions what to convert it to? I want the highest possible resolution.

thanks

What you convert it to depends on the player you use to some extent.

High resolution for a tiny screen is a waste of file size.

Doesn't the Tilt have a 240 X 320 QVGA resolution also? I have an Axim with the same resolution and my movies are 700 mb files. I'm still learning the ropes on the technique so I'm with you on this one. I have Nero and use it to convert my movies into MPEG4.

It's a bit complicated and gives me a run for the money.

I'm still learning and am with you on this one.

You may be able to play mov in TCPMP. Also, i use super to convert my movies to ppc format and they are usually under 200MB.

I'm clueless about what ppl format is. Also, what is tcpmp? I'm just wondering what the supported video formats are in WM6.1 and which is best in quality. I have the stereo headphone adaptor and use nice headphones, so the audio is perfect. I have a long flight coming up and wouldn't mind watching some movies...

TCPMP is a free multi media player.
It will play a huge range of file types.

You will find plenty of info in the Multimedia forum.
