I actually need a little help here...

I have an AT&T Tilt and I've been attempting to unlock this phone for about a day, but I can't seem to pull it off...this is where I'm at:

Currently have WM 6.1 and it seems impossible to unlock...I can reload WM 6.0 anytime I want but trying to unlock isn't working either (every time I attempting to use Kaiser Sim Unlocker, the phone disconnects from Active Sync before it can reload, so no unlock!!)

If someone can help direct me to an easy way to unlock this awesome phone (and cid unlock of course!!!) then my work can begin......

Go to xda developers and do a search on tilt unlocking. you will find what you need.

There is really no benefit to unlocking your Tilt. Yes, you should be able to reload WM6 if you want with out issue as long as it is the stock ROM.

I've been using all types of SIM Unlockers from xda and I've been getting no luck...

I bought this phone off craigslist and I have T Mobile service so I have to unlock...

Everytime I use Kaiser Sim Unlocker v0.1 (its the one with the 3-step folders) I always get stopped at step 2, as in, when it comes time for me to pop in my sim card and get the unlocking code, it flubbs up lol...then I have to reinstall WM 6.0 and start over again...

I can continue searching around for the answers, but it would REALLY help me if I could get pointed in the right direction from a T Mobile Tilt user that had to do what I'm doing right now...

Maybe there's a step I'm missing.....

Ok looks like I'm unlocked...lol took me a good 2 days but damn it's worth it: there's a boatload of apps, roms, and emus and other three letter combos and such...I'm about to have a field day!!! :approve:

I have had no reason to unlock my phone but I do see you point being on T-Mobile. As a last resort there are a couple of website where you can pay to unlock your Tilt but glad you were able to unlock it.
