As title, I upgraded to 6.1 but then found I could not restore old Sprite backup GRRRR

I got a 6.0 ROM file from the WIKI - official..
I installed this to PC then tried to PHONE...

USB lead dropped connection at 16% (I did not do anything!!)

Phone now displays red/green/blue/white screen

Upgrade ROM code error
Please try again..

BUT IT WILL not connect to computer - I have tried two!!

First, Welcome to Mobilitsite. Lots of good info and pple here.

Second - Sounds like the connection to the USB port is not good. Are you using an unpowered USB HUB? If so, try connecting it directly to your PC. If it is connected to the PC try a different USB port. It could also be a bad cable.

I have a few threads in the Fuze and 8525 fourms, but the FIRST thing that needs to be done is flashing HardSPL onto your phone.

This will allow flashing from the SD card... no USB issues and is MUCH faster.
