Generally you set this particular feature in Outlook on your computer:

Open Outlook on your computer, select Tools > Email Accounts > View or change existing email accounts > Next

Highlight the account you wish to handle, then select Change > More Settings > Advanced tab > select "Leave a copy of Messages on Server" and specify the number of days.

thanks

thanks,

but I am trying to do this on my phone, the smartphone, and there do not seem to be the same LEAVE message on SERVER selection boxes as are on PPC devices, and of course as you describe in outlook and outlook express.

well there's no way to change this setting on the pocket pc either. The only way I know to change the setting is through the computer's connection to the email - it may be possible to find a setting for it through the web-based email, but that's not an option with my email service.
