HTC Touch HD and HD2The HTC Touch HD came out last year, but the hot new HTC HD2 is coming to the US. This is the HTC Leo that some many were talking about.
I recently preordered the HTC HD2 from Expansys USA so I guess this'll be "My Favorite MS WIN 6.5" whenever it's released. Anyone got any ideas/dates/thoughts, or whatever?
I Know for sure that I'm growing old waiting for the Kaiser to get turned on to make a call etc.....

For you in-the-know, there has been nit-picking reviews of the Samsung Omnia II and the HTC HD2 which leave questions regarding the displays. Some have complained about the Omnia II's bright AMOLED display not adjusting or not able to be viewed in sunlight. Then there are those kicking the HD2 and other WM machines for not supporting 16 million colors. What are they comparing to?? The iPhone has 16M colors, but 320x480 resolution.
What are we getting if we purchase either of these state-of-the-art machines as far as display improvements? I have not seen any phone/handheld that has any decent screen in the sun. I am upgrading from a Dell Axim X50v with 480x640 w/65k colors. Anyone have access to a real objective review that is not iPhone prejudiced?
Not to rain on anyone's party, but i have the HD, and I just have the feeling that not much has changed between the HD and the HD2.
If you're coming from an older WM phone the difference will be noticeable but if you have an HTC WM phone from the last 3 iterations (Touch Pro, Diamond, HD or the other "2" versions)...nothing new to see here....just a little faster, capacitive screen & more screen real estate.
At the size it is though, it feels more like a PMP and less a phone...for me...its too big...
