Question Switching to Tilt 2

I am considering switching from my Fuze to the Tilt 2 but I am also considering the iPh 3Gs. I am a WM fan so I am leaning heavily towards the Tilt2.

I googled for comparisons and seen a few vids comparing them. I hesitate to switch to the tilt2 because lately my fuze has become buggy. I thinks the Mobile Shell which I recently upgraded has caused the instability.

So anyway, can someone talk about the 256-bit encryption built into the hardware of the iPh 3Gs? I know we can load encryption sw onto the WM tilt but is it equivalent?

Haven't tried it yet, but it's a darn good question. Maybe if I have absolutely nothing better to do this weekend I'll try and load something and see what it does. I hope I don't lose everything, I just kind of got it the way I want it.

Ok, got my Tilt2 yesterday, loaded all my apps and wow its much faster than my Fuze.

I was reading the review posted on the site but my Tilt2 came loaded with WM 6.5. I noticed it does not have google maps but you can load Bing. I will have to play with the app to see if compares to google maps.

Overall I am very pleased with the device.

I too was in that dilemma when i decided to finally upgrade my phone.. I originally had the HTC Hermes 100 (ATT 8525) and upgraded to wm6.1- all was well, but it simply was old, clunky, and well, worned out. So I toyed w/ getting a refurb Fuze, then decided to wait for the wm6.5 release - HTC Pure/ Tilt2. But I was thorn w/ the Iphone 3GS. Granted, the only 'iphone related' materials i have are my itunes stuff (for my ipod connected to my car). A deciding factor was that the basic needs i have (photos, sms, mms, email, web, slingplayer, and basic office stuff) are stuff i already have for my 8525, which can be ported over to a new WindowsPhone. But the hype, the simplicity, and the so-called ''apps'' on the iphone was enticing. I decided to order the Tilt2 online and got it on the 15oct, giving myself the full 30days to decide whether I made a good decision, knowing i can still return and get Iphone3gs. Well, it is now December, and I still cannot get this Tilt2 off my hands. And I'm so spoiled w/ the 400x800 resolution that i cannot go for anything less (other than another HTC device).

Thanks for sites like this, XDA, Microsoft - Its so nice to be able to customize and make it personal, granted that can be done on the Iphone, but not regretting it.

I am still loving my T2, I have Mobile shell loaded and tweaked. I do have an iPhone 3G which i use for games, some apps but only on wifi. however, i would not trade off the T2 anything i have seen yet.
