Cool HTC Touch Pro- Is it worth it?

Hey Guys,

I am up for an upgrade with Verizon and I am considering the HTC Touch Pro, HTC VX6800, or the Samsung Omnia. Are there things that you do not like about the HTC Touch Pro? Currently, I have the Samsung i760 and have had the i730 both with Windows Mobile. Are there reasons why I should or should not get this phone. I am looking for people who have the phone to tell me about it.

Thanks in Advance:)

I got mine on 12/12 and i've been EXTREMELY happy with it so far. I originally had an Axim x51v and loved it, but it eventually got phased out from using a blackberry 8830. The Fuze reminds me the Axim with all new bells and whistles, and the size is extremely nice. battery hasnt been too bad for me, but i havent really used the wifi or bluetooth that much

Be advised...as a fellow VZW user..I have not gotten it yet (and i cant switch carriers), but it may be my only option. The VZW (still using HTC Touch Pro as name did not use the VX6800 moniker)HTC Touch Pro is crippled. Out of the box VZW decided to cut the memory on the phone nearly (an in some cases) in half. At least AT&T's FUZE kept all the memory. VZW reduced it from 288 to 192. Causing from what I understand a NUMBER of slowdowns and out of memory errors. Obviously the also locked out the GPS, the FM radio, the youtube client and the IM client(s).

Thanks for the info... I will check it out before I get it. I saw it on their website and it is not in the store yet. I want to see if they have all of the original features on it before I get it.

Well as far as the VX6800 or XV6800 I can never remember which is right. It is the predicessor of the Fuze. It has a large screen and runs winmo. It is a pretty cool phone/pda but it is almost more expensive as the Fuze. I am attaching the link to it as it is still and HTC.
