Wireless profiles from a hardware button?

Recently aquired a touch pro and was wondering if it is possible to set up wireless profiles on it and tie them to the end button long-press. What I want to do basically is to have a toggle between bluetooth on/data off and bluetooth off/data on.I am using touchflo atm and find it good enough to serve my needs, but if another program can do it I wont be adverse to make the switch.

purchase a program called AEButtons Plus. The vuze only has 1 mappable button, unless you do the shortcut trick to remap the PTT
AE Button Plus

Then, you can reprogram the other 'useless' buttons like Vol up/down.

Once you do that, go to SBSH and look at PhoneWeaver (they have a free trial). With that you can make various phone profiles that you can call via a shortcut. match that shortcut to a button and you are all set.
Software for Windows Mobile Pocket PC: PhoneWeaver - SBSH Mobile Software (there is a discount code available in my sig)

If you want a free method, that isn't THAT specific, leave BT on all the time and just turn data on/off via the comm manager.

Thank you for the quick reply. Maybe I am not thinking about this right, but doesn't bluetooth drain a battery pretty quickly? On my dumbphone, the battery would probably drain twice as fast.(Smaller battery, though)

[EDIT]

Perhaps what I should ask is how much faster would the stock 1350mamp battery drain with bluetooth up 100% compared to without?

BT is so minimal, that if it isn't being used, it isn't worth mentioning.

As far as that goes, even using a BT headset is probably better on battery life that using the built in speakers.

New Bluetooth spec promises easier pairing, lower power consumption
Quote:
Fully backwards compatible with Bluetooth 2.0, version 2.1 offers lower power consumption and an improved device pairing experience. A new feature called "sniff subrating" optimizes battery life, which the Bluetooth SIG claims can result in a five-fold increase in battery life for peripherals including keyboards, mice, medical devices, and watches.

Amazing, thank you for clearing that up! No need for profiles in that case.
