Amazon vs. HTC online store vs. ATT

I've been seriously considering the Fuze lately especially due to the following prices with plans:

Amazon is 174

HTC online store (Letstalk) is FREE after rebates

I have read poor reviews for both retailers. Anyone here care to comment? Why would HTC use a crappy retailer through their own site? I do not want to pay 300 to ATT. Not happy with their customer service as of late.

You've read poor reviews for Amazon.com? I have had nothing but good experiences with Amazon.com. I bought a computer from Amazon.com, that wound up being a lemon. I called Amazon.com and was very impressed at their professionalism and the speed and ease of returning the computer and receiving a refund.

I bought my Fuze from Amazon 1 week before Christmas...

It arrived in 5 days, a full week BEFORE the expected arrival date. also a 16gb microSD card, spare 8525 parts for my hand-me-down phone, and fuze hip case

I have NOTHING but GREAT experience shopping from Amazon

I've had great experience with Amazon overall. There was a lost point and shoot camera but who knows whos fault that could have been. They credited my order ASAP. The negative reviews were for cell phone purchases.

Update,

I can purchase just the phone w/o plan for $200 online with ATT via a discount agreement with my employer. Don't flame me but a friend was showing me some awesome apps for aviation resources like weather on his iPhone. Although I dread apple stuff other than their computers the apps were great. Is there something like this available for the Fuze?
I'm very close to pulling the trigger on the Fuze.
