KJam, Cingular 8125, & T-Mobile MDA Hard Rest
While boxing up the Cingular 8125 to send to a buddy to use, I was doing a hard reset so he wouldn't get all my girlfriend's phone numbers. While doing this hard reset, I remembered how much of a pain it is to accomplish. Since reading how to do it is not that fun, I whipped up a little graphic to illustrate the locations of the buttons you have to hold down. I hope someone can benefit from this post. Enjoy!

To perform a hard reset on a Cingular 8125, I-mate Kjam, T-mobile MDA, or other similiar device:
  1. Hold down the communications manager button (top left) and the Voice activation button (top right).
  2. While holding down those two buttons, use the stylus to hold in the reset button for a couple seconds.
  3. Release the stylus but not the other two buttons. After a couple seconds, a black screen when come up asking you to press send to continue.
  4. Release the communications manager button and the Voice activation button and press send (green phone button)
  5. That's it!

But after looking at your diagram of how to hard reset, I just had to ask...

How many (name your person to offend) does it take to....
