i've been using my new toy (cingular's 8125) for few days and i'm very happy with it, except, after loading few programs via ActiveSync (v.4.1) it appears that i can't connect to the net. as a example, i've tried to update currency, weather forecast... and got an error message.

i've tried with Zone Alarm Pro on, off, with antivirus & firewall on and off again. with proxy on / off....

i've even tried to connect at work, it did sync with Lotus Notes (via ActiveSync) but couldn't access the net.

what am i doing wrong? are there any 'connection boxes' which need to be checked on / off please help.

Which connection type are you attempting to use? Wifi, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, or ActiveSync passthrough?
