I am the new owner of a verizon xv6700 (aka: UTStarcom PPC-6700 / XV-6700 / HTC Apache) and am looking for two things to add to it. One is a good program to run frequently to ensure I don't have any wasted memory. I guess something along the line of Pocket Mechanic, but when I used PM on this device I ended up having to hard reset in order for it to sync. The other thing I am looking for I am not sure exists, but I would like be able to put speed dials on the Today Screen. The new Treo 700w can do this and I am hoping there is software out there I can use with the 6700. So if anybody as any good ideas for, please pass them along.
Oh, one thing that bugs me is that whenever I send a text message, which uses outlook, I get a notifier saying that the message was sent then I also get an incoming text message saying that my message was delivered. Is there a way to disable the notifier and or the confirmation messages?Thanks in advance.
By the way, I am loving the xv6700, that is once I got everything set up the way I like it
