Is there a way to remove the word "Start" from the top of a WM5 screen. I do not want to disable the start menu, just remove the word. I have been checking out the registry tweaks over at

and there is nothing there. This is a great site, and I have implemented a few of the tweaks listed, but would really love to remove the word "Start" from my screen...

Any thoughts??? TIA

Try Wisbar Advance 2 (link in my "My PDA"). It skins most parts of the OS and there is an option to remove the word start, not sure if it works with wm5 but I don't see why not.

Does anyone know of a way that doesn't involve WA2? It seems like the old "sledgehammer to crack a nut" approach.
