Just got an 8125
Wow.. Wish I hadn't waited so long now.. I absolutely love it. Like many others, I have/had a separate cell phone and PDA. Was a pain in the arse carrying the two around. Now with the 8125, I've got 'em both in one package.

I'm finding though that strangely enough, i miss the touchpad from the hx470x series.. I didn't realize how extensively I used it. Naturally I also miss the screen size and resolution from the hx4705 as well.

So far so good with the 8125 though.. I think my only issue is going to be battery life, but that's why I also have a car charger for it too.

Just had to share.. now it's a matter of getting used to WM5, and getting used to the smaller display. Can't fit as much on my today screen as I could with my hx4705.

You will forget all about the 4700 soon enough. I will say that when you pick it up again after a few months, you will say, "WOW this screen is huge!".

I'm kinda weird about the touchpad.. Normally I hate the damn things, but for some reason I actually liked it on my hx4705. Granted, I was always using cursor mode, so that was part of it I'm sure.

Yeah, I'm going to be very surprised if I even touch the hx4705. I'm going to miss the big screen, but I'm already adjusting to the smaller screen. It's truly coming in handier and handier constantly so far.. Definitely a choice well worth it!

I really would like a converged device with a 3.5" VGA screen, that's super slim. I don't mind the width, it's the thickness that turns me off of the MDA/8125.

Heck, I'd even take a smaller or square screen if it was VGA! Nothing beats the sharpness and crispness of a VGA screen... It's like having Gigabit ethernet then going back to dial up... I don't know how you guys do it: going from an amazing, large, bright VGA screen to a seriously cramped, small, less sharp QVGA screen of the current HTC Wizard varity.

Strangely enough, I went over pretty easily too it. I admit, the first day or so it took some getting used to, but after that, nothing to it.

As far as the thickness of it, that's what surprises me the most.. I was expecting to hate it being as thick as it is. Oddly enough though, I prefer it. It fits my hand better.. And considering that bigfoot had smaller hands than I do, it works out pretty good..

I digress though, I do miss the VGA aspect of the hx4705, but I can live without it for now..
