So What do you do when the stylus gets to be really loose in it's storage tunnel to the point that you expect to fall out and get lost never to be heard from again?
Is stylus worn down or is tunnel worn to big?

I'm not sure if it's the stylus or the chamber, but I rarely use mine. So what I did, was take and wrapped a piece of electrical tape around it. Only once, with no overlapping. It's in there nice and snug, doesn't fall out, and isn't impossible to remove when necessary. Takes 2 seconds and should help out immensly.

If it is a metal stylus, you can give it a VERY slight bend.
I did that to mine after a year or two, and it has been fine ever scnie (I'm just over 4 years with my X5 and the original stylus).

DON'T bend your stylus!!!!

uzziah0, I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but the wizard uses a small telescoping stylus. If you bent it in any spot, it would most likely cease to telescope anymore, making it useless.

Sorry, I didn't even look at which group this message was in.
I have an Axim, and the stylus was getting loose, and someone mentioned bending it. That worked great for me, and I was eager to share.
Thanks for correcting me. I've not seen a Wizard up close.

It's very easy to loose the wizard's stylus because after some time due to its silo.
Now I use a Palm Vx Stylus, even it's longer than the original one.

May sound a little odd but borrow some finger nail polish from wife, mom, girl friend etc. and put two thin coats on (letting dry over night between coats) about 1/2" long or longer if you like on the metal near the pointer end. Works great and stays better than tape

one thing i saw over at xda-dev was take come duct tape and wrap it around your stylus, sticky side OUT then put your stylus in so the tape will stick inside the silo
