This is my second 8125 this month with this problem: when the keys are locked and I press the power button to wake up the phone, the task bar shows up blank / white ... no start bar, no clock, no cingular bars, no nothing. Just blank white space across the top of the phone.

To get rid of this, I have to unlock the keys (even just to lock them again) ... and it gets a little frustrating to have that issue every time I just want to wake the phone from sleep to check the time.

I did some searching and discovered some other people with this same issue on other forums, but none of their threads were answered either ... so I have no idea what is going on with the phone.

Should I take it back again? I've done a hard reset twice now, and it still has this problem.

Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a way to solve it?

I would be grateful for any advice or anything ... from anyone!

I would return it if its still under warranty. Havent experienced it yet.

mental ambiguity

It's happening with mine too.. I'm running the latest firmware as far as I can tell. It's annoying, but I have seen it happen randomly too.. I'm betting there's a process or something somewhere interfering with it.. I haven't bothered enough to investigate further, although I may do that..
