Problem, Need Help, Occured during Upgrade ROM, SPV M5000

Hello, ive contacted orange and been waiting for about a month now nothing happening. (waste of time)


anyways this happen when i was installing new upgrade from business.orange.co.uk

in the middle of the process the installation process gave an error and after this my phone looks like it has no software on it. you know the screen that it shows when it establishes its own connection well thats the only thing i can see, i.e. Serial on top and V1.00 at the bottom of the screen.


I really need help with the phone now, its worth nothing as it is so please help..

I don't know anything about your phone, but when this sort of thing happens with an IPAQ, I recommend attempting to reflash again. This time, make sure you've got your phone plugged directly into AC power and your USB plug is directly plugged into a USB port on your computer (don't use a USB hub). Remove any storage cards.

Don't know if that will help, but maybe...

Hi,

Try reading the support database here HTC : Support and select the QTek 9000 phone and look for the topic "System & Upgrade". This should have all the answers for you.
