New to the site but old time PDA Hound from back in the Apple Newton days.
Does that make me a Noob or an Oldie? Either way, I'm glad to be here. I've ben browsing this site for a few days now and LOVE it.
I'm on a campaign to push PDA culture in corporate America. I see too many companies that won't support end users that have PDA's. I don't know if it is an IT department acting out of fear of looking dumb or if it is Exec's that haven't realized how powerful the PDA is and that when their employees volunteer to BUY THEIR OWN PDA that they are making a huge comittment to working harder AND smarter.
I'll be asking lots of dumb questions so be patient with me. Better to ask dumb questions now than fix stupid mistakes later, right?
Thanks in advance, guys and gals!

It's the fear of looking dumb. :approve:
I know because my (ex-)coworkers refused to support them because they could never get them to work right. Needless to say we started supporting them shortly after I started there and told people that even though IT wouldn't "officially" support them, that "I" would support them. :)

Welcome to Aximsite. I introduced PDAS's to my workplace about three years ago and it took off like crazy. You just have to make sure there is always someone knowledable to teach the new comers and keep the ball rolling.
Welcome to the club. I can't agree with you more about PPC's in the workplace. The problem is everyone remembers the early one's and their limitations and are scared to try them again.
