Just thought I'd introduce myself....been a member for a bit now and usually just lurk and keep up on the latest info. I've got an Axim x51v that I use primarily as a PIM, but also use with wifi at home for surfing the 'net, but also use it for document/data storage too. Thanks all! Going to try the rom update sometime this week, and gotta redo the bt stack thing too (my Axim crapped out on me bigtime a week or so ago, first time in over a year that a soft reset alone didn't fix it--what made it worse is that I forgot to take out my cf and sd cards before doing the hard reset too, DOH!)

Did the HR erase your CF and SD cards? I didn't know a HR could do this. I thought it only rewrote the internal memory.

^^I'm pretty sure it did. I know I remember reading (after the fact of course) to remove any sd/cf media from the Axim before performing a hard reset.... It could be something else I did too though, I wasn't quite as up to speed as I should have been about how to deal with it....

diducmeb4--kids are always jumping out in front of me mid corner, just as I get my knee down!!! I sometimes find this to be a bit safer....
