Not really a newby, but never made a formal introduction....
Well, I've been posting here for a while, but never really introduced myself, so I thought I'd do it now.
My name is Julie and I am a pocket pc addict (or so it seems). I post here fairly frequently and am also a frequent poster over on HP's forum, posting under the name Prof Julie. (for those of you who are interested, I teach business courses at a large urban university and that's what many of my students call me).
I have been using pocket pcs for a couple of years and I am somewhat obsessed. I've spent more time than I care to admit surfing the internet, reading forums and expert blogs to learn all that I can learn about them....and I have accumulated quite a collection - my most recent acquisition being an hw6925 that I got last month.
In all my internet reading, I see a need for well written, organized and up-to-date documentation that can be referred to by new users, so I have recently set up a website and blog where I hope to provide more detailed information about some of the basic functions of pocket pcs. I hope you all will drop by and visit me.
I have enjoyed posting to this community over the last year and look forward to another great year. I really appreciate all the effort of Chris and the moderators here. If it weren't for them, this would not be such a great place to hang out.
Happy new year everyone!
julie

in the spiritof formality... Welcome to mobilitysite
On a more informal note, I'd like to say thanks for all your good advice and help here. if there's a tricky question and I see that Julie has replied I know that there will be a good answer :approve:
Hello Julie,
I never thought you needed an introduction and when I saw the topic I thought it must be someone else.. Thanks for this & letting others know a bit more about you.
Oh and be careful, when you are posting your thoughts from "your pocket to ours" not to transfer any unintended items, especially the ones with the presidents' faces on them.
Here is to a 13-month late introduction

My first, an h1945 - used for about 6 months, broke the screen, eventually repaired it myself - works like a charm
Then, an hx2415 - my favorite, use it every day.
When my curiousity about WM5.0 got the best of me (I didn't want to pollute my hx2415 with it), I found a great deal on an rx1955.
And in December I replaced my cell phone with an hw6925 (another great deal).
Oh....and I have a really old Sharp Wizard (does that count?).
Thanks All! I really do appreciate your good wishes. Before I started posting here, I spent several months reading and I have learned alot from all of you and many of the other members whom we haven't seen around in a while.

I think your expertise in all things PocketPC has served well in introducing you a long time ago.
However, since you are formally introducing yourself now, we would be remiss if we did not welcome you aboard with open arms! So, welcome aboard, we are quite happy to have you (have had you?) along for the ride!
