Aximsitex50icon Hello Eventually

Hi, I've been a member of Mobility site (via Axim) for many years but this is my first post.

Although my PDA (Dell Axim X50) is still being used (only as a GPS navigator) I like many others have moved from Windows mobile to an iPhone. What a joy, reminiscent of when colour screens replaced green screens on computers. Hows that for being geeky?

Anyways, I've worked in the IT/Telecoms field for 30+ years so I've come across many types of kit. The stuff now is great. Just wish I could get past level 11 on spore.

Hi mossmog! Thanks for sharing...sounds like you and Chris Leckness will have a lot in common...telecom field & Windows Mobile to iPhone change. I wish someone where I work had an iPhone...I'd really like to see one in action and compare its core functions as a phone to WinMo 6.x.

Hi breley, thanks 4 the reply. I must admit b4 the iphone I had a WinMo 6 and an Android and I really prefer the iphone. Its wider but easier to use and there are little items which show how much thought has gone into the design. One example is the calculator, which if held normally is a standard calculator, but if it is rotated to landscape mode changes to a scientific calculator.
Go on bite the bullet..... get one off ebay Its just like being dual boot.... WinMo and iPhone. Bet you end up using the iphone most.
