I'm new, and I'm hooked!
Hey all!
I am new here, but not new to PPC in general. I have had a few Palm's and a Clie. I finally decided that I want to be able to hit the WiFi spots on campus, so I was in the market. I decided to get an X50 mid, with a 520mHz processor. The X50v was a little out of my target price range.
Uses:
I mostly use my PDA's to keep track of assignments from University, track appointments, etc. I am still researching a good student program.
I alsom am looking forward to hitting WiFi spots, to browse the net, and use IM. Again I am researching IM clients to use.
Accessories:
I currently have a 256MB CF card, although I'll expand in the future. I am looking at various cases and screen protectors to take care of my new friend.
I will also most likely invest in BT keyboard and mouse, to basically replace my laptop for note taking.
Great site you have here, I just hope you all dont make me spend all my money! (Or lack there of)
Thanks a lot!

I'm aware of some of the deals, but I like the security of knowing I purchased directly from Dell, with full warranty. I have been screwed in the past for other purchases, because I wanted to save a buck. Thank you though!
I paid extra for warranty, complete care, etc. And I do not regret the price I paid for the item I (will soon be) recieving.

The 280$ price is directly from dell. ALl you need to do is utilize the 25% off coupon and the 30 (35$??) off coupons that you can find here on this site. (or ebay)

Yeah I just saw that. Bu tlike I said, I do not regret getting what I paid for. I will give thought to returning my X50, depending if I think the screen is bad enough for me to wararnt the extra time without a PDA.

I looked into the coupon codes, and they are used up (limit of 1000), so unless more show up soon for the X50v, to bring it down to what I pad for the X50, then I'll definately be keeping it.

Ok so after researching... I decided that the increased resolution is something I'd like. (I donned on me that I might actually be able to see text from IE clearer... duh!) so I went ahead and canceled my order for the mid, and I can now say I ordered the X50v...
