Hi all,

I was stumped, couldn't decide which device to get, the X50v or the Palm Lifedrive, both pretty much did what I needed just a bit differently. Sooooo long story short, it was THIS site that was the deciding factor... what a great forum, knowledgeable articles and posts...etc... The Axim arrives tomorrow.

I wonder how many Axim's Dell has sold due to this site.

Anywho, thanks to all here.

Oh, a bit about me. I'm an IT professional working primarily with Linux and Novell's eDirectory (actually, I'm a linux zealot) and building portals like this one.

Motorcycling is my pastime, I'm a proud owner of an 01 ZRX1200 and an 04 WR450F.

I hail from the the Metro Detroit area

Happily married with 3 kids, 2 dogs and a big screen TV (to watch the Motorcity kittys make fools of themselves and the Pistons make a fool of Shaq :-)

just to confirm your decision...I had and returned the Lifedrive. I had all kinds of problems with it crashing and forget listening to mp3s while you do anything else. I also was swayed by this site. I knew if I had any problems switching from palm to ppc I could get some help. Welcome.

ive been a Palm boy for years now, owing lots of PalmOS devices since the Palm 3, up until the super high-definition screen of the Sony VZ90 - and believe me when i say that the LifeDrive is step in the reverse direction... forget about it...
