How does syncing work with Vista? After many tries still can't do it.
Never had a problem with the Dell 50v. It can't be hard. Can someone walk me trough it? TNX

You should be able to sync the same way as you did with the X50v. Just set up a new partner. I have the ipaq 111 and the X51v sync on same Vista Computer. I have to reboot between. The 111 syncs always with no problems the X51v I had to play with sometimes. Remember you have to use WMDC with Vista(from MS). Good luck

I am thinking about buying a 111 (switching from my dying Axim X50V) and would like to know about syncing. With the new operating system and ActiveSync do I still have to sync froma specific folder on my PC or can I set several different folders (use XP Pro)?

You form a Partnership with a folder(dir) on vista and my documents on pda use wmdc on vista

I will be using XP Pro nit Vista (I don't think that would make a difference.

I now use an Axim with WM 2003SE. Now I have to create a partnership and if I want to sync a file it must me in a specific directory on my PC and it can only go to a specific directory on the Axim and every file in the respective directories get synced.

With the new operating system for the 111 can you sync only specif files in several directories or does it work the same as I described above?

I basically works the same as you describe above. I think you can select files not to be synced. I thought you could also do that in the older versions of ActiveSync also.
