Sorry to hear about that. Was the unit in a case? How long have you had your device?

The most you can do is to call HP and see what they can do. Chances are HP will fix it but you will have to pay for the screen. There are also a couple of places available that will repair the screen but it will be for a fee. LCD screens are not cheap and if you have to pay to get it repaired then you will have to decide is it worth repairing the screen or just investing in another one whether new or a refurb. Typically the iPAQ LCD screens range around $165 USD.

Hope they're better than Handspring! I dropped my visor edge (loved that thing, so tiny) and they basicly told me to throw it away, and buy a refurbished one, yeah right!!! Good luck man, I hope you don't need it!!

Now that's one thing that Palm's custermer service is good. I sent a m100 in and 2 days later had a refurbished one, no questions asked

Really? One reason I just bought a PPC is due to Palm's awful tech support, the screen became desensitive on the right hand side of my TE. I sent them an email describing the fault and the only reply I got was a short email telling me the problem was with the screen! Well thank you PalmOne!
