Worse news!

Go to their regular shopping site, it is no longer listed there at all (even though they still have the ad banners at the top for it)

Might have to find another way to get WM6 on my X51V. It is not good that they have moved the release date to 'Some time in 2008'.

I looked through the first six pages but couldn't find an answer to my question, which is:

What is the difference between the 210, 211 and 212? I read somewhere that the 212 is basically the Hong Kong/Asia version where as the difference between the 210 and 211 is the 210 has 802.11b while the 211 has 802.11b/g.

As pointed out by a member at Brighthand, the price for the ipaq 200/210/211/212/214 in the Small and Medium Business Store has now been raised to a price of $449.00.

This pricing is now similar to the hp Home Office Store price of $449.99.

I was instant messaging with a friend in Sweden today and he told me the IPAQ 214 was available there now.

If this is true, it will not be the first time that HP has delayed the distribution of a new IPAQ for the US.

I've kind of given up on the PPC as it is.

It's kind of like the delay between the Palm T3 and the TX, then the letdown of the TX: Is that all there is? We waited this long for that?

I'm in the same place with the PPC. The X50V was very nice. The X51V was an upgrade, but not enough to warrant a new purchase. Then the Axim line died.

Now HP comes out with this iPaq 21x that would have been great coming out just as the Axim line was discontinued, but after all this time I'm again left with: Is that all there is? We waited this long for that? And now it's delayed.

Whatever. Hope there's still a market for you when it does get here HP.

Interesting tip Julie. hp's Swedish website appears to have a listing of the accessories on sale for the ipaq 200.

Anyone know Swedish?

I'm totally with you. I got my X50v when they first came out, and now after 3 years, it's disappointing to see that not much has changed on the hardware end. I've often thought about migrating to a UMPC, but I'm just heavily invested in WM . Am really hoping that the HP 210's PXA310 processor surprises us all and gets the speed of web browsing up to that of the iPhone. Just a few more months...

I think this just might be the ticket for me, coming from a 5555!

I've waited this long, just a few more months until it's "soup"!
