I must say the 211 was a must have for me, but the release date of 2008!!!
Give a break! Sooo I bought a used 4700 on Ebay (my fourth 4700...I'm rough on them). I had read somewhere that folks had finally gotten WM5 to work fairly well, and began my search for a "HOWTO"... what I found over at Bright hand was a process for putting WM6 on this puppy!

WOW! it was fairly easy, and I can't believe how much faster this bad boy really is. Don't get me wrong, WM2003 was fine for my purposes, but the unit I bought had a flakey OS (many resets), and I really had nothing to lose.

So far all my software works (still loading some of it). I'm really impressed by how fast PIE works. Now for the real test today... Core Beta Player!

If all goes well, and WM6 stays stable, I'll ship this off to the guys at Pocket PC Techs for the memory upgrade.

Still it's not a 211, but it looks like a good alternative for now!

The WM6.0 upgrade is an illegal ROM that was never licensed for the hx4700. Discussion of illegal ROMs is not permitted on this forum:
