I actually like the stock HP slipcase because it fits the 210 nicely and just looks good. If only it had a belt loop... Then, I figured out how to add one:

1) Tie a flat lanyard or shoestring around both sides of the slipcase. I just used a square knot. Cauterize the ends to prevent fraying.
2) Just thread belt through the new loops.

The mod is both easy and non-destructive.

cool cool, but it's not gonna hold more than 2 months of continuous usage ;)
The elastic belt connecting the two folds of the pouch will eventually get destroyed. A better solution would be to use a segment of an old leather belt to saw it on the rear of the pouch in a loop shape. And in fact I would've done that already if I didn't own already my old ipaq's leather case by HP for the hx2400/1900 models, which I modified by closing the belt clip into a proper belt loop (using guess what, a piece of old leather belt :P).
Belt clip was ok the first two months, then it kept getting loose. My old ipaq 2400 fell down a lot of times before I finally decided to mod the case.
