how do u stop the stuttering when running applications such as i was playing galaga and the game sometimes stops for a second every now and then it last for less than 1 second but its annoying this also occurs when playing any videos

nothing is running in the background but the app

this hasnt happen with the x51v because of its dedicated video processor

damn HP for going cheap for their best PDA saving it for the next generation 250k screen and a graphics chipset

edit: i found disabling auto backlighting helps a bit also i just watched armageddon on it at original size and it was super fast (no stuttering) and amazing quality in window mode but on full it was sort of stuttery but still awesome

I believe it's in the nature of the beast.
They aren't designed for intense graphics usage IMO.

You can tweak some settings though, if you use Tweaks2k2 or SKTools (or others) that will make performance a bit better with less stuttering.
As for movies, you can adjust the bitrate and sound quality, etc...
