Last week my new iPAQ 210 was delivered and I am trilled with it. One of my first goals was to find a nice soft case for it. After some web searching, I found Piel Frama was going to have a leather case available soon. Here’s where my story gets interesting. When I visited the company’s website I found they just had just opened their US office in Miami. I’ve been traveling to Miami on business the last 7 weeks and this is my last weekend before I change my job assignment to locations in the Northeast. I checked out the address for this office and found they were just west off the Miami airport, and I am staying just south of the airport. I stopped by yesterday to see if they were open to the public. Inside I met a helpful gentleman who was getting their operation set up. I told him what I was looking for and asked if the iPAQ 210 case was out yet. On a counter he had an inventory that I believe included all the color options (Red, Black, Tan, Black/Tan, Blue, Green, Cowskin Ostrich and Cowskin Crocodile). He had just got them in and I was about to be the first US customer for this item. What lucky timing. I liked what I saw very much and I purchased one in black. Now I’ll be moving to my new location on Monday with my slick new iPAQ all classed up!

The unit is very well made with all the cutouts for the earphone jack, mic, USB and sync ports, voice record button and reset buttons all very precise in their locations. It has slots for credit or ID cards and slots for two SD cards inside. I will try to post picture with this review. It is my first posting ever of this kind. I discovered aximsite.com while waiting for my iPAQ 210 which I faithfully pre-ordered last October. Since I have benefited from the postings on this site I figure I might as well make a contribution.

I was recently informed I suffer from AAS (Accessories Acquisition Syndrome). I am trying to keep it in check.

I'm not sure which side of the Atlantic Ocean you are on. I was sure that the US / Canada site listed the case for the 210, but it doesn't today. If you are west of the Atlantic I'm sure you could call to do a phone order if you want or hopefully they will have it listed on the site soon. Like I posted earlier, they had all the color options when I stopped by their location in Miami. The snap is very typical of what you find on many cases, so should one break a replacement should be very easy to find.

This link will get both address and phone numbers. I don't know if the toll free number at the bottom is Miami too, but I would think so.

There are other thread about cases, but I think it's better for me to post here so that it's centralized and easier for other to check.
