I usually use Mobem's CE-Star, but haven't yet installed it on my 211 because I know it'll mess up something--it always does. (Tried Mactiontech's Monster on a few PDAs, but never could get it to work.)

Has anyone tried Chinese IME programs, and if so, which do you prefer?

I have both from my sig on my HP211
no problem
but you may sacrifice word guessing function
to enable HK character, you need to pick mingliu
I recommend mingliu.ttc from XP to maintain performance
you need to do some registry hacking to use .ttc instead
you also want to get pocket tweak to "hide" some input not need
about Monster Chinese, you MUST install 5.3, NEVER install 6.0, it cause my pda unable to boot, requires factory reset
V5 SIP and input works 100% with 211, I tried

Surely you don't keep more than one Chinese IME on a device at a given time?? I would expect them to eat one another first and then take vengeance on everything else on the PPC.

since I only can use ChangJei, I have it installed
