I don't know what you are seeing or saw, but this is not a Desktop Cradle, IMHO...

My point exactly; it is NOT what I consider a desktop cradle but it and others like it are advertised at this and other urls. And oh yes, I DO know what a "desk cradle" is supposed to look like. The part in your pic is labeled Product Details:
