Desktop Docking Cradle?
Has anyone been able to buy a docking cradle. I can only find it in one place on the HP website and it appears it's only a choice when you are purchacing the PDA. I can't find where to get one otherwise.

HP Direct sent me a survey regarding my purchase. So I took the opportunity to tell them that they should be offering the cradle for sale to customers that have already bought the pda without it.
If there is a way to get one, I don't know how at this point. (?)

Does anyone know if IPAQ 210 fit onto the hp cradle with a leather case say from piel frama or PDlair? It would be a pain to have to have to remove the case to sync or change everytime.

I have had a number of PDA's with leather cases Dell Ipaq etc. and now the 211 and none of them would. I don't think this is going to, I know not with the PDair case anyway. I have seen a picture of the cradle but I can't seem to find it again. That would be real nice if it would, I agree, it's a pain to take it in and out of the specially if the case is tight fitting.

Does ANYONE own a 210 cradle? Doesn't seem like anyone has it and can't find anyone selling it online either. Something smells fishy on HP's end.

When I bought my 211, there was no mention of a cradle in the specs.
As for cases, all of my Sena cases (five? more?) fit into the cradle perfectly. As I recall, so did the Vaja cases once they got a bit flattened/used on the bottom.
The softer the leather and the less obvious the stitching, the easier it is.

After a google search, and perusing through the Hp site, a desktop for the 200 series does not exist. I'd be interested if anyone finds otherwise.

Thanks a bunch for the news. Did your source say anything else? 'Bout docking cradles etc? The exotic attachments referred to us in the HP helps part of out machines?
Thanks

Hi Bill and all
My contact has informed me the HP iPAQ 210/240 Desktop Cradle will now not be available till May has it and a number of other HP parts including the extended battery, Semi-Rugged Case, etc for this model are still being finalized. Sorry about that. I was looking forward to April. I will keep everyone up-to-date with the news.
