Sena is planning to start taking pre-orders for their new iPAQ 210 case within two weeks.

I'm still leaning towards the Proporta Alu Leather, but I'm curious how the Sena case will come out. At least it will have a magnetic closure.

If only Piel Frama would make magnetic closures, I'd be buying that one. As it is, I've almost worn out my old Piel Frama snap closure in 3.5 years time. Though the case itself is still very good, it won't do much good if the snap isn't working well.

Judging by my experience with their 4700 cases, they make beautiful stuff. Worth the wait...

I was told that they are looking at a design for a case for the 210 with the extended battery which is what I am waiting for. And that they are hoping to take orders by the beginning of next month.

Proporta just dropped off the list :).
The website was updated with pictures and the case for 210 is much uglier than I hoped for. I just can't think up why Proporta would want to use just two plastic guide bars to hold the pda in the case.

All the other manufacturers encase the pda completely with leather.

I keep thinking of scratches on the pda where the bars are. Not good imo.

Let's hope for a nice Sena case!

I too wish that Piel Frama would go back to the magnetic closures. I have had two of their cases (one with and one without the magnetic closure), and won't be buying another, unfortunately, as the push clip is very ordinary.

I had a sena case for my T5 - excellent case. Waiting for my proporta case to arrive at the moment (ordered it last week). Also thinking of ordering a PDAir one just as a comparison (very reasonable price).
