I wonder if it would be possible to use any available drivers with a usb to dvi/vga converter box once hp comes out with a usb cable for the ipaq?

Do you know if HP is really thinking about coming out with such a cable for the IPAQ any time in the near future? This has been something people with IPAQs have been wishing for for a really long time to no avail. I, personally, don't see it happening, but ......

That might explain why HP changed the connection to support the extra pins required for a VGA out signal. I know that is the reason Dell gave for changing their connect with the X51v. Of course, that's just speculation, but it would make sense. And, even if it's true, HP seems to be having issues with getting the device (and its accessories) to market in a timely fashion, so even if they are planning on a VGA cable, it will be months before anyone sees it.
