I'm running Opera Mobile 8.65 on my 211. It ran fine right after I installed it (trial version), but after I entered the new registration code (I transferred Opera from my Dell x51v) it has now decided to shut itself down right after I open it. It may go ten seconds, it may go forty, but then it terminates and removes itself from memory. Sometimes I have time to call up a web page, so I know it's basically working, and once it actually ran long enough for me to reset the home page. But it always stops running.

I've considered interaction with other programs, but the only autostarting program I run is SPB PocketPlus. And Opera does this right after a reboot, or at any other time, whether the PDA is connected to the web either wirelessly or through Activesync, irrespective of whatever else is running.

Anybody got any suggestions as to what might cause this?

It may need a unique serial number specifically for the mobile version. Other than that I cant imagine what the issue could be.

When you change devices you need to request a new security code. The original security code was for a specific device.

I had this exact issue and clearing the cache solved it.
