Icon13 iPaq 210 lots of little problems going back....

Well my iPaq at less than 30 days old is going back. The speaker failed in it. :realmad: Vista will not install the Wi-Fi update, the Wi-Fi connection icon does not display the correct status, about half the time. Lot's of little problems it feels like a ROM that was not fully tested. I tap the screen and a significant amount of the time it registers as multiple taps. Over all I am just not impressed, there is just too many little things.

Anyone using a H470 printer with the 210?

Well I contacted HP today and was told "Don't call us, we will call you" when we can get around to it in three to five days. Or so... Here at the end of my thirty days that feels a lot like a brush off.

I have heard them say that story. You bought yours from the Small Business "zone" of HP, right? Well, they don't have any inventory. When I called, they said it would be 2-3 days before they even HAD a device that they could ship to me. Sound like your story? That's why I ended up buying the 211. Although it's the exact same hardware, the Home "zone" has plenty of inventory and they ship the same day. That said, the 2 halves of HP don't work together, talk to each other, or (it seems) have anything at all to do with each other. Heck, it took 5 instant chats and 3 phone calls across about 5 hours and 3 days just to confirm that the Home zone's 211 could be covered by the Business zone's 3 Year Accident Next Business Day Coverage (it can, by the way).

I wish I had a secret jumper cable to give you, but all I found in talking with the Business Support team were dead ends.
