Think Outside Sierra Bluetooth Keyboard

Just got my 211 in the mail yesterday. So far - EXCELLENT!!! Other than the slight insensitivity of the screen, no complaints at all. I'm loving it.

I have a Sierra bluetooth keyboard that I used with my 4705. I've seen in the forums that others have been able to use this device with the 210. Can someone point me to the driver that will work for this keyboard on a Windows Mobile 6 PPC? I looked on the web site and tried to load it over the air, but I failed.

Thanks for any help!!!

Tim

I am sorry but have you tried the default built-in driver and does it fail to see the keyboard? iPaq wireless | Bluetooth connections | New | scroll way down to the bottom of the list, you should see connect to a keyboard.

Have you actually tried that?

And having said the above have you tried running Think Outside Bluetooth drive on your PC to install it? The driver installed on my iPaq 210 when I was playing with my Bluetooth mouse. You do need to disable the built-in driver and this will require a few soft resets, but it does work...

I was able to use both the built in keyboard driver and the driver that came with the disk (which is a WM5 driver). The only downside to using the built-in driver is that the special keys and functions won't work. I am even able to switch between the drivers without incident.

Thanks for the advice. I installed the same driver that I was using on my iPaq 4705. It seems to work just fine. I wasn't aware of the built in driver, but I prefer to use the one from the vendor.
